Great Britain Line-Engraved Issues 1840 One Penny Black Plate IV QH, good to large margins, on small neat envelope to Bangor dated 28 August 1840, tied by fine light strike of the red Maltese Cross, St. Asaph double-arc despatch datestamp at left in the same colour with unframed "No. 2" receiving house h.s. in red alongside; light cover creasing clear of the adhesive and in no way detracting from the excellent appearance of this scarce and most appealing Welsh usage.
