Great Britain Caricatures, Printed and Hand-Illustrated Envelopes 1841 Sothgate caricature number 1 "Pickpocket", used from Cirencester to Edinburgh dated 31 December 1841, bearing 1841 1d. plate 17, TG, margins at places, tied by superb upright stroke of the black Maltese Cross; the envelope with minor corner damage at lower-right though barely detracting from the fine appearance of this very rare usage.
