x Great Britain Postal History Ireland 1879 (17 July) envelope to "W. Hancock, Kuingchow, China" (a customs official who was also responsible for establishing the British Post Offices in China), bearing 1864-79 1d. plate 219 (2) and 1873-80 4d. sage-green plate 16, tied by fine light Lurgan "316" duplexes, the reverse with very fine light "singapore/to hong kong" c.d.s.; central tone patch caused by the red wax seal (missing) on reverse, otherwise fine and most appealing.
