Great Britain Postal History Ireland 1872 (24 Apr.) privately printed ´damage-proof´ envelope showing coat of arms and imprint of "T. Edmondson, Stationer, Dublin", used to Roscrea, the original card address slip attached at left bearing 1864-79 1d. and 1870 1/2d. tied by "186" numerals with corresponding Dublin c.d.s. alongside - exactly as directed by the printed instructions on the address panel: "Impress Your Date Stamp On The Address-Flap Only, To avoid injury to Contents"; fine, clean and extremely attractive.
