x Great Britain Postal History Ireland 1859 (14 Feb.) envelope registered from Dublin to Kiev in Russia, bearing 1855-57 1/- green, vertical pair, tied by fine light "186" numerals in black and large red double-ring "england per aachen" d.s., the address panel with five different red registration handstamps (Irish, English and German), "P" in oval frame and fancy framed "aus russland", ink manuscript note in Russian indicating that the letter was received without its contents and blue ink "Retour"; light pressed creasing though in no way affecting the wonderful appearance of this most unusual and characterful cover.
