Royal Commemoration medals (5), George V, Coronation, 1911, oval aluminium, 25 x 30mm, on a shield facing crowned busts of George V and Queen Mary, four small figures above, rev. arms etc. of Douglas, presented by miss harris marathon below, douglas coronation celebrations 1911 around (Q.180; K.81 but in aluminium), Silver Jubilee, 1935 (2), 32mm, conjoined crowned busts to left, rev. triskelion, in silver, with Birmingham hallmark (Q.182; K.80), and nickel-plated brass (Q.181; K.79); George VI, Coronation, 1937, ?cupro-nickel, 32mm, conjoined crowned busts of George VI and Queen Elizabeth to left, rev. triskelion (Q.183; K.83); Elizabeth II, Coronation, 1953, aluminium, 32mm, crowned bust to right, rev. triskelion and motto (Q.184; K.84), extremely fine or better, each with loop and ribbon, all except Q.184 with a clasp, those of Q.181-2 bearing the GvR cypher; Q.182 and 183 cleaned (5) Estimate £ 80-100Of the 1935 medals ´only three were struck in silver´ (Quarmby, p.25)
