Cape of Good Hope Mafeking Siege Stamps 1900 set of the Mafeking Siege postage stamps discovered in General Baden Powell´s effects in 1946, comprising S.G. 1, 2 (type 2), 3, 4 (type 2), 5 (type 6), 6 (type 4), 7 (type 5), 8 (type 1), 9 (type 2), 10 (type 2), 11 (type 5), 12 (light crease), 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19 and 21 (showing cracked plate, position 7), all mounted on one piece of ruled paper marked "These stamps were brought away from Mafeking by Colonel Lord Edward Cecil, Chief of the Staff, during the Siege, 1899-1900, to General Baden Powell", signed V. Milner; three of the stamps affixed at a later date, the rest tied by Mafeking May 12 1900 datestamps.
