British Columbia and Vancouver Island 1862 (Mar.) envelope ex the Rumsey correspondence to Toronto and redirected to Ingersoll, C.W., showing oval-framed "post office/Arms/victoria v.i." and bearing United States 1861 5c. buff (faults) and 10c. green with target cancellations, showing San Francisco double-ring d.s. (20 March) and "chicago ill/paid 15" exchange handstamp in red, Yorkville and Ingersoll c.d.s. on reverse. A scarce usage of the 5c. buff. Sc. 67, 68.
