New Guinea 1914 (16 Dec.) stamps of Marshall Islands surcharged, "g.r.i." and value 31/2-4mm. apart, 2s. on 2m. vertical strip of three from Setting 7, the top stamp with "g.r.i." double, the centre stamp with "2s." double, and the bottom stamp normal, fine unused with large part or full original gum. A unique strip and one of the great rarities of the "g.r.i." surcharges. Holcombe (1989) and R.P.S. (2005) Certificates.
