Christian, showing a largely fine strike of "posted in pitcairn island/1924 no stamps available" (S.G. Type IV) in brownish ink, and with light "postage prepaid/(new york, n.y.p.d." h.s. in violet below; the envelope partially toned clear of the h.s. Photo Estimate £ 700-800
