x Pitcairn Island The following seven lots are all ex the "Bliss" family correspondence to Christobel, Canal Zone 1923 (14 May) envelope, complete with letter from Ada M. Christian, showing a good strike of the "posted.in.pitcairn./no.stamps.available" (S.G. Type IXA but 66x10mm. in blue-black ink), Auckland transit c.d.s. (11/6) on reverse; the envelope a little damaged at right through opening though a very rare type unlisted in S.G. Photo Estimate £ 1,000-1,200
