x New South Wales Covers and Cancellations 1853 (Aug.) and 1854 (25 July) entire letters ex the same correspondence from Sydney to San Francisco, the first "per Julia Ann" bearing 1852 3d. (faults), the second "per Henry William" bearing 1854 3d. (one defective corner), both cancelled with dumb obliterator and showing U.S. "ship/6" handstamp and arrival c.d.s. on face, despatch c.d.s. on reverse; both with a few faults though an unusual early pair of covers to U.S.A.
