x New South Wales — Coin 5/- perf. 13 vertical pair in combination with 1860 perf. 12 Registered 6d. and 1860-72 perf. 13 1/- carmine vertical pair, all cancelled with Sydney dumb obliterators and tied on 1862 piece showing manuscript "Registered" and with Ryde c.d.s. for 21 November alongside; both pairs severed with scissors with the 5/- having perfs. cut off at right, one 1/- with scissor-cut in one corner.
