New South Wales Laureated issues 1852 imperf. 1d. brick-red on bluish paper, a horizontal pair, [9-10], with [9] showing variety "wale", unused without gum, margins mainly all round; the variety with repair in upper left corner and the other with surface abrasion at top, both with age marks, though a rare multiple and of good appearance.
