x Victoria Covers and Cancellations 1857 (July) envelope registered from Hepburn to Switzerland, bearing 1854 1/- vertical pair, 1854-55 Woodblock 6d., Registered 1/- and 1857 Emblems 4d. (partially affixed over right edge of cover) all lightly cancelled "25", showing "Crown/registered" h.s., "registered/g.p.o." double-oval d.s. and circular-framed "pd" in red, "d6" and "chargé" h.s. and Calais c.d.s., all on face, various transit c.d.s. on reverse; the envelope with flap missing and few other faults though a rare and spectacular franking.
