Victoria Half-Lengths Second state of dies — 3d. blue with clear margins, tied by light barred oval "1" on 1852 (12 June) entire letter from Melbourne to London, showing manuscript "8" rate marking and, on reverse, light "ship letter/melbourne" oval d.s. overstruck by arrival c.d.s.; the entire with continuation of letter across face panel including the adhesive.
