x Tanganyika - Mafia 1916 (Oct.) "g. r./post/mafia" handstamp in sloping type On German East Africa Yacht Stamps 21/2h. brown, 71/2h. carmine and 45h. black and mauve each handstamped in violet, unused without gum and somewhat washed. A very rare trio. Holcombe Certificate (1996) states "The status of these overprints is unknown to date and are probably of a trial nature. As such they are in my opinion genuine".
