S.G. 43-80 Very Thin, Hard Transparent (Pelure) Paper Imperforate 1d. shades (6 with a marginal pair [L17-18]), 3d. lilac (two shades, one [R27]) and 6d. shades (7 with [L35-36] marginal pair, [R9] and [R16]), unused and mostly with part to large part original gum. A fine group. R.P.S. Certificate (1975) for one 6d. S.G. 52-54 group Estimate £ 250-300Note: The 6d. pair and one single showing virtually complete and part impressions of the "alex . a. osborn./Postmeester./johannesburg." framed handstamp which was applied after his appointment in 1890
