Great Britain 1840 Mulready 1d. Envelopes Stereo obscured, used from Nottingham to Cambridge dated 8 September 1840, cancelled by two strikes of the red Maltese Cross (contrary to regulations), then nearly nine months later on 15 July 1841 the envelope was turned and re-used back to Nottingham bearing 1841 1d. plate 13, NI, margins all round tied by fine light strike of the black Maltese Cross; light creasing and lower flap with tear though still fine and very attractive.
