xTogo Anglo-French Occupation Issues 1914 (Oct.) Overprinted "TOGO/Anglo-French/Occupation" at the Catholic Mission, Lomé Narrow Setting with lines of overprint 2mm. apart 2m. blue, a marginal example from the foot of the sheet, [18] with weak "t" in "Occupation", neatly cancelled with central upright Lome c.d.s. dated 29 September 1914 in error, affixed to small piece. A very fine example of this rare stamp. Holcombe Certificate (1992). Sc. 58; S.G. H24, £9,000. Photo Estimate £ 4,000-5,000 Note: Bob Gibbs believes that a sheet of twenty was overprinted. The stamp does not exist unused and only twelve examples have been recorded, one of which is in the Royal Collection
