Overprinted "TOGO/Anglo-French/Occupation" at the Catholic Mission, Lomé Wide Setting with lines of overprint 3mm. apart 10pf. carmine marginal example from the right of the sheet, variety overprint inverted, Setting 1A [31] inverted on [21], unused with large part original gum, fresh bright colour; upper right corner perf. blunt, otherwise fine. A very rare stamp with only four unused/mint examples recorded. B.P.A. Certificate (2001). Sc. 37a; S.G. H3a, £7,500. Photo Estimate £ 3,000-4,000 Note: This variety was caused when the top half of one sheet (50 stamps) was inadvertently overprinted upside down.
