xBRITISH POST OFFICES ABROAD Uruguay Montevideo 1866 (29 Sept.) yellow envelope to Bordeaux, bearing 4d. vermilion Pl. 7 and 6d. lilac Pl. 5 pair, both crisply cancelled "C28", showing circular-framed "pd" with London Paid and Calais entry datestamps and, on reverse, light "montevideo" double-arc d.s. overstruck by arrival c.d.s.
