xBRITISH POST OFFICES ABROAD Colombia Colon 1879 (21 July) large outer wrapper registered to France, bearing 1d. Pl. 171 pair and twenty-seven 6d. grey Pl. 16, all cancelled by "E88" obliterators and showing blue crayon "6", "colon" c.d.s., straight-line "registered" and arrival datestamps in red; the wrapper partially opened-out to reveal six adhesives on reverse.
