Hong Kong Mail of British Warships Serving on the China Station 1857 (1 July) "On H.M.S." envelope addressed to Capt. Arthur Cockrane on H.M.S. Niger, Hong Kong, rated "6" in black ink and with a fine strike of Charing Cross Maltese cross datestamp, the reverse with a good strike of type 7 Hong Kong arrival c.d.s. dated 1857 (20 Aug.); some wrinkling, mostly confined to the flap.
