Hong Kong Postal History 1848 (11 Feb.) diminutive entire letter addressed to the London Missionary Society "overland via Southampton" and endorsed as from Shanghai, front with a good strike of type 8 crowned circle and a very fine strike of boxed "too late" (Webb AAi), London arrival Paid and zig-zag rate mark; the reverse with a very fine strike of the type 9 c.d.s.
