Wei Hai Wei Chinese Post Office Republic 1932 (3 Aug.) envelope from London registered to The Island Hotel, Wei-Hai-Wei and redirected to Shanghai before being returned to sender. The fine array of transit marks include two types of Weihaiwei (one scarce type numbered 2), boxed "duplicate" with date "18 OCT 1939" and boxed "triplicate" with date "28 OCT. 1939" plus Tientsin and Shanghai c.d.s.
