Wei Hai Wei The Chinese Imperial Post Office 1900 (June) red band envelope addressed to Staffordshire bearing C.I.P. 1/2c. (2), 1c., 2c. (2) and 4c. tied by type 7 (42.5x22.5mm) "weihaiwei" oval dater with France Peace & Commerce 25c. alongside tied by "shang-hai/chine" c.d.s.; the reverse with Shanghai bilingual and arrival c.d.s.; folded twice and light soiling but a rare example of this dater which was only used in June 1900.
