x France, a nineteenth century cylindrical red leather case, 15 cm. long x 5 cm. diameter, with gilt arms of Napoleon on the lid, brass hinges and two brass hook and eye clasps, lined with green baize, the base divided into twenty slots containing twenty bronze medals, 40 mm. diameter, commemorating events in the reign of Napoleon Bonaparte; medals with uniform obverses by Jean-Pierre Droz, reverses variously by Bertrand Andrieu, N.G.A.Brenet, Andre Galle, Louis Jaley and Romain Jeuffroy.
