Indo-Scythian, Vonones with Spalagadames (c.75-60 B.C.), AR Tetradrachm, 9.78g., king on horseback riding right, wearing cataphractus and carrying lowered spear, exergual line below, baÓiËeÙÓ baÓiËeÙn meÃaËoy onÙnoy, rev. Zeus standing facing, holding long spear and thunderbolt, monogram under left arm, Kharosthi script naming Spalagadames as son of Spalahores: Spalahoraputrasa Dhramiasa Spalagadamasa (Senior 67.3a; c.f. M.686), two small tooled areas by horse´s hind legs, otherwise practically as struck, good extremely fine and extremely rare Estimate £ 400-500Senior: 2001, p.41, states: " Issue 67.3a is unique", so presumably this is only the second recorded specimen
