Henry VI, first reign, annulet/annulet trefoil mule, Halfgroat, 1.92g., Calais, crowned bust facing, annulets at neck, rev. trefoil after POSVI, annulet in third quarter, m.m. cross V (very small on reverse) (Whitton 13(b); N.1429; S.1855), scrape on king´s crown, otherwise an unusually fine example, attractively toned, very fine or better, rare Estimate £ 100-150Apparently no true annulet-trefoil halfgroat is known (Whitton p.87), though both obverse and reverse dies are known as either annulet/annulet-trefoil, or annulet-trefoil/rosette mascle mules. This coin has what might be the trace of a trefoil to the left of the king´s hair, though on the true obverse the trefoil is to the left of the crown
