A World War II Polish Officer´s Tunic A well-made khaki whipcord Service Dress tunic by william anderson & sons, edinburgh & glasgow, of British Army style, with scarlet-edged black velvet patches on lapels, white metal buttons finely-struck with the Polish Eagle, Polish Lieutenant-Colonel´s rank insignia in silver embroidery on shoulder-straps, bearing four rows of medal-ribbons, cloth belt, maker´s label inscribed in manuscript Lt Col W KRZYWIEC and dated aug 1942; companion khaki trousers; a khaki side cap with blackened British Royal Arms buttons, the front fitted with the Polish Eagle in white metal, badges of rank on the side in silver Russia braid and white metal; and a khaki beret by lock & co, bearing the Polish Eagle in silver embroidery above badges of rank See illustration Estimate £ 180-250
