R.), very fine or better (4) Estimate £ 220-250Corporal Walter Johnson served with the Mounted Infantry in South Africa; during the Great War he served with 10 Battalion in Gallipoli from 22.7.1915 and in the following September was wounded in action; he was entitled to the War Badge no.20,209, and was discharged due to his wounds 9.3.1916
