Scott), light contact marks, edge bruise to BWM, therefore very fine (3) Estimate £ 480-520M.C. London Gazette 16.9.1918 Capt (A/Major) Douglas Scott, Royal Field Artillery. ´For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. After the infantry had retired through his line of guns, he withdrew his men to the infantry firing line, and continued to fight with them. It was by his great persistence that two of his own guns and two belonging to another battery were withdrawn by his teams under heavy machine gun fire.
