Regt.), edge bruise, otherwise nearly extremely fine Estimate £ 380-420Captain Edwin Thomas; Ensign 1839; Lieutenant 1841; present at Maharajpore (entitled to Star); served in the Punjab Campaign 1848-49 and was present at the actions of Ramnuggur, passage of the Chenab, Chillianwallah, Goojerat and the pursuits of the Sikhs and Afghans to Peshawar (entitled to Medal and two clasps); Captain 3rd Bengal European Regiment, 1854; served under General Wyndham at Cawnpore, present at the attack by the Gwalior Troops and the final defeat of the Force under Lord Clyde (2.12. and 6.12.1857).
