STRAITS SETTLEMENTS India used in Straits Settlements 1855-65 Typographed Issues Singapore 1864 (3 Nov.) entire letter to New York, marked "Via Marseilles", bearing two 8a. carmine pairs (both crossed by vertical filing fold), showing red crayon "3/10", London Paid transit c.d.s. overstruck by circular-framed "10", "32/cents" accountancy h.s. in red with, on reverse, clear arrival c.d.s.
