xGibraltar 1859 (8 Nov.) entire letter addressed to Manila bearing G.B. 1855-57 1/- pale green horizontal strip of four, strip of three and two pairs paying an astonishing 11/- rate, (three with trimmed wing margins and some other faults) cancelled by "A26" barred oval with the despatch c.d.s. in blue alongside plus a fine strike of "12" in black; the reverse with large Hong Kong transit c.d.s. (late use for this) and Manila arrival; two horizontal filing folds affect some of the adhesives, nevertheless an exceeding rare sextuple rate franking and probably unique.
