BURMA Republic of the Union of Burma 1975 International Women's Year, a series of five stamp-size handpainted essays in various designs with pencil-drawn simulated perforations, two not dissimilar to those eventually issued, affixed to card (172x217mm.) with suggested face values written in vernacular alongside, and a fifth essay for a 15p. in an unissued design with the background either of coloured paper or handpainted and with mica overlay for the remainder of the design and lettering, executed five times stamp-size on card (210x296mm.) with colour swatches affixed at foot.
