BURMA Prisoner of War Mail Incoming Mail 1942 (late) envelope, complete with 25 word (maximum allowed) letter on pink paper, to Sgt. Maj. Burgoyne at Moulmein, the envelope with U.K. censor tape, both envelope and letter with handstamp in purple translating as "Thai P.O.W. Camp" and with red censor chop. A rare letter with very few envelopes, with the contents still intact, have survived due to the shortage of paper in south east Asia at the time. Photo Estimate £ 150-200 Note: Sgt. Maj, Burgoyne was in the 15th. Infantry Brigade, and thus a member of the little known "British Battalion"
