New Currency Surcharges on Japanese Values Covers 1943 (Nov.) 1a. envelope (originally used in 1941 from Tawa Lock to Padaung), turned and re-used from Padaung to Hlegu, bearing 5c. on 1a. on 5s. claret with new surcharge "5C" omitted and neatly cancelled with double-ring d.s. with date written in manuscript, two bi-lingual arrival c.d.s. on reverse; the envelope a little soiled though a rare variety, especially on cover.
