Also imperforate forgery in vermilion on wove paper made in Japan, affixed to card. Photo for pair Estimate £ 300-350 Note: When the 1a. Farmer stamp was issued philatelists in Japan were unable to aquire them due to the war, so a locally made forgery appeared. When the "Japanese Postage Stamp Association" obtained genuine stamps and sold them to it's members, the local forgery dissapeared. It is now considerably rarer than the issued stamp
