Arty.), pawnbroker´s mark on edge, nearly extremely fine Estimate £ 750-850 Corporal John Godley, born Southampton c.1780, served in the 44th Regiment 1796-1803; enlisted to the Corps of Artillery Drivers, August 1803 and served with them before being pensioned off in 1816 after nearly 21 years total service.
