Hugh Cardinal-Harford.), contact marks, nearly very fine or better, the group mounted as worn (8) Estimate £ 340-380 Major Hugh Cardinal-Harford, born 1877, served in South Africa with the 5th Imperial Yeomanry as Lieutenant; was dangerously wounded at Vaalkop 12.6.1901; accompanied 13 Battalion Essex Regiment to France as Officer Commanding ´D´ Company 17.11.1915; rose to Major May 1917.
