Jacomb. 1/Essex Rgt.); King´s South Africa, two clasps (Essex Rgt.), very fine or better (2) Estimate £ 240-280 Captain William Arnold Jacomb (1877-1914), entered the Essex Regiment from Militia as Second Lieutenant May 1898, and Lieutenant February 1900; served in South Africa, 1899-1902 and was present in the operations around Colesburg January 1900 in the Orange Free State including Poplar Grove, Vet and Zand Rivers and those in the Transvaal 30.11.1900-31.5.1902; Captain 1905; died at Beddington, Surrey.
