Jenkins, 1:Essex Regt), minor edge bruising to I.G.S., extremely fine, both with silver top riband buckles Estimate £ 380-420 Private William Jenkins, born St. Margarets, London; attested for the Royal West Surrey Regiment (1884) from the 3rd Battalion East Surrey Regiment, aged 20 years; re-engaged for a further four years, 1896, to the 1st Battalion Essex Regiment and served in South Africa from 11.11.1899.
