Oak Leaf, all medals privately engraved ´91825 Major C.H. Tilston R. Signals´, good very fine or better, mounted as worn (6) Estimate £ 80-100 M.B.E. London Gazette 28.6.1945 (Italy) 91825 Major (Temporary) Charles Harry Tilston Royal Corps of Signals (Leeds). The Recommendation states ´Major C.H. Tilston has been responsible for the arrangements for the supply of Controlled Signal Stores to the Armies during the summer and autumn operations in Italy. This task he has performed exceptionally well in the face of many difficult crises, when the success of operations has depended on the expeditious delivery of urgently needed stores.
