George IV, Silver Vinaigrette Box, Ledsam & Vale, Birmingham, 1824. Reeded sides, lid and base bright-cut with leaves on a pricked and linear ground enclosed by applied foliate borders, the lid initialled G. H. T., gilt interior with missing grille. Hallmarked as Birmingham, 1824, with maker's mark. 5.8cm x 3.6cm x 1.5cm. 44.99g. A few light scuffs and areas of wear, but otherwise very fine and still useable.
