A curious Runic Bracelet. Lower-grade gold or gilt silver, 18.9 gm. Pale segmented tortoise pattern; on the inside, etched in, is a left-facing swastika, the rune algiz (elk) and gebo (gift) with a crossbar added (thus resembling more a common monogram found on ancient Greek coins); also an Italian Classical-style Gilt Silver Locket. Turreted and veiled female head on green background, floral border. Hallmarked "800".
