Undated (ca. 1956) Sommer Islands "20 Shillings" Fantasy. By A. Wuesthoff. W-18520. Silver. XXX (grains). XX above hog left, all within beaded circle; well-detailed ship above waves. New York coin dealer A. Wuesthoff was located at 113 Canal Street in the 1880s. Examples of this type were made in October 1956 by Paul Franklin in gold, silver, copper-bronze and brass when the dies were on loan from F.C.C. Boyd. Uncirculated. A similar piece in Mint State realized $1,140 in the November 2021 Stack's Bowers sale.
