1841 2d. plate 4, PA-PD strip of four, margins nearly all round (PA clipped at one place, PD torn at lower-right), on entire dated February 1854, to Genoa, re-addressed to Paris, tied by black London numerals and fine red “P.” in oval, inscribed ”Via Belgium” and unusually showing transit markings applied at Aachen, variously rated in manuscript; some creasing though still most attractive.
