1841 1d. unplated, HB, small to very large margins (portion of adjoining stamp at top), on neat envelope to Newport Pagnell and re-addressed to Castle Thorpe with manuscript rate "1" for redirection, the adhesive tied by superb strike of the brown "stoney-stratford/9 fe/1854" double-arc datestamp and with similar type Newport-Pagnel d.s. alongside in almost the same colour; fine, attractive and most unusual.
